I completed my dietetic internship from 2015-2016 with Baptist Health System in San Antonio, TX. Baptist Health System's highly successful program has a proven success rate, with students having a first-time pass rate of 93% and an overall pass rate of 100% on the national credentialing exam. This program is a post-baccalaureate, supervised practice experience that prepares students to take and pass the examination to become Registered Dietitians. The full-time program takes approximately 40 weeks to complete, and requires a minimum of 1,200 supervised practice hours. Supervised Clinical and food service management rotations are completed within the Baptist Health System Hospitals, and supervised community rotations are completed at various sites within the San Antonio area.
Baptist Health System Dietetic Internship's mission is to provide a high-quality dietetics practice program that prepares competent, professional, entry-level dietitians to become part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working together in a compassionate Christian environment.
